The Walsbrunnen is a gypsum karst spring designated as a natural monument near Illesheim in Middle Franconia .

description

The Walsbrunnen is located between Sontheim and Ickelheim directly on the course of the Erlenbach. It is a bluish shimmering spring pot with strong aquatic plants . The spring water arises from the middle Keuperschicht and flows after a few meters into the Erlenbach, which flows over the Linkenbach into the Aisch .
