Walter Bittle and the Flying Saucers was an American rockabilly band.
history
Bittle and the Flying Saucer Boys, which consisted of Walter "Arkie" Bittle (vocals and guitar), Glynn Hipp (electric guitar), Ray Smith (bass) and Bobby Johns (drums), had their first single in 1956 on Claudra Records in Indiana . Their second single Teen Age Blues followed in 1957. However, the band split up and Bittle gave up his career. Glynn Hipp also recorded two instrumentals with Claudra in 1959.
