Walter Erlbruch

Walter Erlbruch (born January 27, 1971 in Krefeld ) is a German mini golf player.

Erlbruch has been a regular player in the national team for over 20 years. He won the world and European championship titles several times with the German team. In singles, he won the European Championship in 1990, 1996 and 2018, the German Championship in 2002, 2006 and 2012 (match play) and the World Match Play Championship in 2011. Walter Erlbruch plays in the first team of BGS Hardenberg, one of the most successful club teams in the world. The team has dominated the mini golf Bundesliga for more than a decade and provides several national players, including a. Erlbruch's brother Harald, the European champion in 2006 and 2008. The pair of brothers enjoy an almost legendary status in mini golf. Both received the silver bay leaf in 2003 and 2012 . In 2017 he was again awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf. In 2018, after winning the European Championship in match play, he resigned from the national team.

Walter Erlbruch is the owner of numerous track records. His best performance over 4 rounds of miniature golf is 73 strokes.

Erlbruch works full-time as a coach at Deutsche Bank .
