Walter Graf (born March 3, 1937 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss bobsleigh athlete . He achieved his international success in 1968. At the European bobsleigh championships in 1968 he won the four-man bobsleigh together with Hans Candrian , Willi Hofmann and Walter Graf . Shortly afterwards, the four Swiss won the bronze medal at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble . Graf retired from active sport soon after the games, but continued to volunteer for the sport for many years. He was head of the bobsleigh delegation at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo and was still involved in the organization in 1976. In the civilian profession he was a manager.
