Walter Koleznik (born October 17, 1942 ) is a former Austrian football professional and national team player. He's one of the rare species of footballer who has only worked for one club their entire career. In the case of Koleznik, it was the Grazer AK .

The goal-scoring midfielder made his first appearance for the athletes in 1961, his last in 1978. In between there are 401 championship games and 84 goals for the "Reds", 6 appearances and 1 goal for the Austrian national soccer team as well as appearances in the European and ÖFB Cups, including the cup finals in 1962 and 1968. Even when the GAK had to relegate to the 2nd division in 1974 due to the forced reformation - the club managed to get up again immediately - Koleznik remained loyal to "his" club.

In the spring of 1978 he ended his active career with a derby victory against SK Sturm Graz , only to take on responsibility again as an interim trainer a few months later . He then worked for a few years as an assistant coach and in 1989 again as head coach for the Grazer AK. In the anniversary year of 2002, Koleznik was voted into the “team of the century” of the Grazer AK by the fans.
