Walter Möhlmann

Walter Möhlmann (born January 18, 1912 in Soltau , † April 26, 1977 in Kassel ) was a German politician ( DP , CDU ). He was district administrator in the Soltau district and from 1951 to 1967 a member of the state parliament of Lower Saxony.

Möhlmann attended the middle school in Soltau and the upper secondary school in Uelzen . He then studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Hanover from 1934 to 1938 . After that he worked as a construction manager for a major Berlin construction company until 1945. After 1945 he ran his own business in Soltau. Since 1948 he was the district administrator of the Soltau district. Möhlmann first moved into the state parliament of Lower Saxony on May 6, 1951 , to which he was a continuous member until May 5, 1963. Then he resigned, only to return to the fifth electoral term on June 12, 1963 a month later. He remained represented in the state parliament until the end of this on June 5, 1967. From May 26, 1955 to April 11, 1963 he was secretary of the Lower Saxony state parliament. In addition, he was from October 17, 1951 to September 26, 1952 Chairman of the Committee on Youth Issues. From 1951 to 1959 he belonged to the DP / CDU parliamentary group, then belonged to the DP parliamentary group until March 1962, but then joined the CDU parliamentary group.
