Walter Erich Müller (born February 13, 1959 in Bremerhaven ) is a Bremen politician ( Die Linke , then voter association for Bremerhaven ).

education and profession

Müller graduated from school with a secondary school diploma. He then completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator . He later graduated as a commercial specialist and then took a degree in business administration at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences , which he graduated with a diploma in April 2008 . He is currently a full-time politician.

politics

Müller had been a member of the Left Party since 2005 and became party spokesman for them in Bremerhaven. Since the election in 2007 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship. Represented there in the Committee for Port Affairs in the State of Bremen (without voting rights) and in the state deputation for the fishing port. Müller is also a city councilor in Bremerhaven.

On January 31, 2011, Müller announced that he was leaving the Left Party after he felt that he had been passed over when the candidates were nominated for the state election. He then founded the voters' association for Bremerhaven . This took place in the state elections in Bremen 2011 in the Bremerhaven area as well as in the election for the city council that took place at the same time. In the general election, the electoral association achieved 0.2% of the vote. In Bremerhaven, Walter Müller was elected to the city council for the electorate.
