In 1923 March was involved in the construction of the model house Am Horn with Adolf Meyer .

Together with his brother Werner March, he won the competition with their design for the German Sports Forum in 1927 . The buildings of the swimming pool and the sports hall, which are adjacent to the longitudinal axis of the sports field and opposite one another, were planned by Walter March and the reception building ( Hall of Nations ) was supervised.

In 1933 the brothers Werner and Walter March created the first draft for the Reichssportfeld , worth mentioning is the joint supervision of the Reichsfeld until 1934 and the subsequent overall management by Werner March with the participation of his brother Walter.

The draft for the Speisehaus der Nations ( Berlin House ) in the Olympic Village in Dallgow-Döberitz (1934–1936) was completed in 1936 under the artistic direction of his brother Werner. Another joint effort by the brothers Werner and Walter March was the equestrian stadium in the Olympic Park in 1936.
