Work and work

The first computer-generated glass work was created in 1998 - a monumental work that mixes the film Pulp Fiction and the Ghent Altarpiece. Since then, glass work in a wide variety of formats and motifs has become the trademark of Trutwin's work.

The main fields of activity of his work are the biblical ban on images , the early Flemish / Dutch painting, represented above all by Jan van Eyck , the Gothic cathedral window, as well as researching the questions: What is art and how does it work? The same questions arise for the picture.

Internationally known collections have acquired glass works by Tobias Trutwin.

Tobias Trutwin lived and worked in Paris for well over ten years and has been based in Berlin since the beginning of 2006.
