Walter Mathiak
Walter Gottfried Hermann Mathiak (born November 15, 1930 ; † July 13, 2013 ) was a German judge .
Career
Mathiak initially worked in the financial administration of Schleswig-Holstein. In 1965 he became a judge at the finance court in Kiel . In June 1980 he was appointed judge at the Federal Fiscal Court . He was a member of Senates VIII and X, which are responsible for income taxes. When he reached the age limit, he retired in November 1995.
He is the author of several publications on current issues and the history of income tax .
