Walter Neidhart

Walter Neidhart (born April 27, 1917 in Basel ; † October 18, 2001 ibid) was a Swiss professor of Protestant theology .

Neidhart taught practical theology at the University of Basel until 1987 . After studying theology, he was first parish priest and then commissioner for religious instruction in Basel. From 1966 to 1993 he was co-editor of Theologia Practica magazine . His doctorate with Julius Schweizer was published under the title Psychology of Church Education . Together with the reformed pastor Hans Eggensberger, he published a narrative book on the Bible .
