Walter Parker Weaver
Walter Parker Weaver (born February 11, 1934 in Elkin ) is an American theologian .
Life
He earned an AB from Duke University in 1956 and a BD in 1962, and a Ph.D. from Drew University. 1968. He was a clergyman in a Methodist Church in Durham 1958–1962, and Adelphia, 1962–1965. He teaches at Greensboro College , Assistant Professor 1965–1969, Associate Professor , 1969–1972; Florida Southern College , Associate Professor, 1972–1986, Professor of Religion and Philosophy, 1987–1989, Pendergrass Professor of Religion, 1989–1997.
