Walter Rauch (born August 4, 1961 in Dünserberg ) is an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ). From 2008 to 2009 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Life

Rauch lives in Dünserberg, is married and has two children.

Rauch has been the mayor of Dünserberg since 1985. He has represented the ÖVP Vorarlberg since June 5, 2008 in the 28th Vorarlberg state parliament, where he was the area spokesman for community policy and waste management within the ÖVP state parliament club. After the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2009 , Rauch left the state parliament.

Awards

  • On April 27, 2010 Walter Rauch received the Silver Medal of Honor of the State of Vorarlberg.
