Walter Rupp SJ (* 1926 in Würzburg ) is a German Jesuit .

Life

After graduating from the humanistic grammar school; Military service, wounding and American imprisonment, he entered the Jesuit order in 1946. After his ordination in 1957 and completing his studies in philosophy and theology in 1960, he became a youth and student chaplain in 1960 and was academic chaplain and head of the Munich Academic Center from 1974 to 2004.

He is a writer and freelancer for Bayerischer Rundfunk: Thoughts on the day and the Catholic world .
