Walter Simon (* 1946 in Hamburg) is a German author and trainer .

Life

Simon first learned the trade of druggist and then went to sea. He studied social and economic sciences at the Hamburg University for Economics and Politics , the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and the Sophia University in Tokyo. In 1979 he was awarded a PhD with an economics dissertation on the influence of business associations on EU institutions. rer. pole. PhD. At this point he started working for the management development department in the AEG group . In 1981 he started his own business as a consultant for business and politics, based in Bad Nauheim. From 1996 to 2002 he held the chair of 'Strategic Management / HR Management' at the Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences , Wiesbaden. He has been a voting faculty member at the Steinbeis University Berlin since 2007.
