Walter Vogelsanger

Walter Vogelsanger (born June 29, 1963 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Vogelsanger was born the fourth of six children and grew up in Beggingen . In 1990 he completed his physics studies at the ETH Zurich and worked from the same year until his election to the government council of the canton of Schaffhausen as a physics teacher, among other things at the canton school Schaffhausen . He is married and has four kids.

politics

Vogelsanger was a member of the Schaffhausen Cantonal Council from 2006 to 2009 and 2013 to 2016 , which he presided over in 2016. One of his central political issues is equal pay between men and women.

In 2015 he ran for the Council of States , but was not elected.

In 2016 Walter Vogelsanger was elected to the government council of the canton of Schaffhausen .
