Walter Wagenbauer

Walter Wagenbauer (born February 4, 1935 ) is a former German soccer player who played exclusively for Bayern Munich and was used in 34 league games in the Oberliga Süd and scored 17 goals.

Career

At the age of 24, Wagenbauer was part of the FC Bayern Munich squad, for which he scored four goals as a striker in nine league games in the 1959/60 season . He made his debut for Bayern on December 27, 1959 (3rd matchday) in a 1-1 draw against VfR Mannheim in the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse . In the following season, in which he played 24 point games and scored 13 goals, he scored four times on the first three match days, including his first double-goal win on August 28, 1960 (3rd match day) in a 5-1 win at home against VfB Stuttgart .
