Walter Young

Walter Young (born March 14, 1913 , † December 28, 2004 in Mission , British Columbia ) was a Canadian marathon runner .

In 1937 he won the Boston Marathon in 2:33:20 hours.

In 1938 he was sixth at the British Empire Games in Sydney , Canadian champion in 2:34:47 h and eighth in the Yonkers Marathon . In 1939 a third place followed in Boston in 2:32:42 h.
