Walter Zluhan

Walter Zluhan (born August 14, 1885 - † May 2, 1969 ) was a German art dealer.

Zluhan received his doctorate in 1926 from the law faculty of the University of Tübingen . Later he was director of the Kunsthaus Schaller in Stuttgart , which under him developed into an important sponsor of contemporary art in the Württemberg region. After the end of the Second World War , he rebuilt the house, which was completely destroyed in 1944.

In 1952 he was awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany.

He was brother-in-law of the painter Käte Schaller-Härlin . Since the summer semester of 1904 he was a member of the student association AV Igel Tübingen .
