Walther III. von Arnstein (* around 1150, † around 1196) was Lord von Arnstein and Vogt von Barby . The Counts of Lindow-Ruppin and the Counts of Barby descend from him .
His parents were Walter II von Arnstein and Ermengard von Plötzkau .
Walther married Gertrud von Ballenstedt. Gertrud was the daughter of Adalbert III. von Ballenstedt (a son of Albrecht the Bear and his wife Sophie von Winzenburg ) and Adalbert's wife Adelheid (also called Adela), the widow of Sven III. (Denmark) .
Walther and Gertrud had the following children:
