Herbert Jodlbauer

Herbert Jodlbauer (born April 17, 1965 ) is an Austrian scientist in the field of production management and logistics. He is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria ( Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences, School of Management ) and forwards the two courses Production and Management (PMT) and Operations Management (OMT) in Steyr .

Life

Jodlbauer studied technical mathematics at the University of Linz and received his doctorate from the University of Vienna .

He has published in professional journals including the European Journal of Operational Research , International Journal of Production Research, and International Journal of Production Economics . Jodlbauer is also the author of specialist books and a reviewer in scientific journals. In 1995 he was a co-founder of the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, and in particular founded and built up the first University of Applied Sciences course in Production and Management in Steyr. In 2010 he founded the Global Initiative value chain management value chain and the biennale Value Chain Management Conference.
