Walton and Weybridge was an administrative district (Urban District) within the southern English county of Surrey, which existed from 1933 to 1974 . The district was formed from the parishes of Walton-on-Thames and Weybridge. These locations are in the south west of the metropolitan area of London on the M25 ring road. In the course of the administrative reform of 1974 the district was dissolved and Walton and Weybridge combined with the parish of Esher to form the new district of Elmbridge . Today around 54,000 people live in the area of the old urban district.
