Waltraut Antonov

Waltraut Antonov (born June 3, 1959 in Graz ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ). Between 2005 and 2010 she was a member of the State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

education and profession

Waltraut Antonov attended the Federal High School in Leoben, where she graduated in 1977. She then began teaching and interpreting courses in French and Russian, and from 1982 to 1983 did a study visit to the Soviet Union . In 1984 she completed her studies with a master's degree. From 1986 to 1987 she completed the export course at the Vienna University of Economics and Business , is an interpreter and translator for Russian and an academically certified export saleswoman.

From 1984 to 1986 Antonov worked as an interpreter in the Moscow Foreign Trade Office of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce , then moved to the marketing department of Waagner Biro as an Eastern European representative until 1991 and has worked in various trading companies as an export clerk and sales manager since 1991.

politics

Between 2001 and 2005 Antonov was a district councilor in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus and from 2002 onwards she was also a club chairwoman. From November 2005 to November 2010 she represented the Greens in the Vienna state parliament and municipal council. She was control spokeswoman for the Vienna Green Party and chairwoman of the Vienna Control Committee. From November 2010 to June 2013, Antonov was again a district councilor in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. Since 2012 she has been chairwoman of the district conference of the Vienna Green Party.

Private

Waltraut Antonov is married. She has a daughter (* 1993) and a son (* 1994).
