Two manufacturers of cookers and ovens operate under the traditional Wamsler brand , both of which also use the identical logo.

The company was founded in 1875 with a workshop in Munich. It developed the first portable economy stove.

Today's Wamsler Haus- und Küchentechnik GmbH is based in Ismaning near Munich and sells wood and pellet stoves, workshop stoves and individual oil stoves.

Since 2005, Degrotec GmbH in Viechtach has been producing and selling Wamsler stoves for the catering industry.
