The Wanderer W 14 12/65 PS is a sports car that Wanderer-Werke brought out in 1931 as a derivative of the W 11 model. The 4-seater convertible was designed by Ferdinand Porsche . This development contract was the first that Porsche received as an independent engineering office in Stuttgart from a large German automobile manufacturer .
The vehicle had a 6-cylinder OHV in-line engine with 3 liter displacement at the front; he made 65 hp. The power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox with a gearshift lever in the middle of the car. The cars with U-profile low frames had leaf-sprung rigid axles.
Only 24 units of this luxury car (price: RM 12,900) were produced until 1932. Its engine was from 1933 in the Wehrmacht - Kübelwagen 11 / I W on.
