Wandl (musician)

Wandl (* 1994 in St. Pölten ; actually Lukas Wandl ) is an Austrian producer, musician and vocalist.

Life

Wandl was already interested in music in his youth and began playing the violin at the age of five. At the age of 12 he began to experiment with music production software and wrote his first songs. At the age of 15, Wandl released his first EP "Milk" (2011) under the pseudonym Zweipunktnull. In the following year he finished a self-produced album which he sold "under the hand" to friends.

After graduating from high school and his first official publication on Siluh Records, he moved to Vienna in 2013. He docks with the Affine Records label . In 2014 his EP "Far Way Home" was released, which brought him international attention for the first time. In 2016 he worked with the Salzburg rapper Crack Ignaz and produced the collaboration album "Geld Leben" which was voted one of the best German rap albums of the year by the German Juice magazine and reached number 37 in the Austrian album charts. His official debut album "It's All Good Tho" was released in June 2017, which was subsequently voted 4th of the "Albums of the Year 2017" by Musikexpress . After a Germany tour with a picture book (2018) and some art projects (2019), he released with the single "Double Exposure" in May 2020, new music for the first time in 3 years.
