Crack Ignaz is an Austrian rap musician from Salzburg .

Career

Crack Ignaz first attracted attention in 2013 with the songs Elvis , Based im Nebel and Herbert Prohaska . His early releases include the mixtape swag tape . His distinctive rap, held in a strong Salzburg dialect, is stylistically based on current American rappers such as ASAP Rocky .

Before his debut album was released in 2015, Crack Ignaz was featured as a guest on the chart album Der Riese im Glashaus von Skero . In July the album Kirsch was released on the German label Melting Pot Music . At the same time, he was Soundpark Act of the Month at FM4 (ORF youth channel). At the beginning of 2016 he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category "HipHop / Urban" and for the FM4 Award, which is presented as part of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award.

Shortly before this, his second album Geld Leben had been released, which he had recorded with the musician and producer Wandl. With that, he made it into the Austrian charts at the end of January 2016 .

On January 19, 2016, Crack Ignaz released the album Aurora together with the German rapper LGoony , which can be downloaded for free from the Internet.

On November 24th 2017 the EP New Level was released together with Soufian and LGoony . On 13 December 2017, the three rappers as took Team New Level at the Red Bull Soundclash in part.
