Wangdu Gyatotsang
Wangdu Gyatotsang (* around 1920 in Litang , Sichuan Province , Republic of China (1912–1949) ; † 1974) was a member of the East Tibetan guerrilla organization Chushi Gangdrug , founded by Gonpo Tashi Andrugtsang , which set itself the goal of preventing Tibetan Buddhist culture from being destroyed to preserve. Gyatotsang was trained by the CIA in the mid-1950s . He was sent to Mustang, Nepal, to succeed Baba Gen Yeshe, the commander of the Tibetan guerrillas. Gyatotsang died in 1974 after being ambushed by the Nepalese army and killed by them.
