The Ready Set , actually Jordan Witzigreuter (born November 14, 1989 in Fort Wayne , Indiana ) is an American pop musician.

Career

Jordan Witzigreuter's musical career began at the age of eleven when his mother signed him up for drum lessons. Two years later he played in his first band. At the age of 16 he started his solo career, choosing the project name The Ready Set because of his complicated surname . He wrote his own music and published it on the internet. He also put together five albums on his own, recording all of the instruments himself. He gained popularity through the internet and his appearances.

Witzigreuter's manager contacted Pete Wentz, who is known for his work with the punk rock band Fall Out Boy , and in November 2009 The Ready Set was signed to Wentz's label Decaydance Records. There he recorded his first studio album I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming . It was released in July 2010 and was listed at number three on the Heatseeker charts. He had his breakthrough with his debut single Love Like Woe , which took first place on the Heatseeker song charts two months later and placed 27th in the official US charts . He currently has a contract with Hopeless Records. There he recorded the studio album I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love .

Tours

The Ready Set has participated in various tours such as the Take Action Tour , the AP Tour , the Summer Camp for Dope Awesome Kids of the VMA Tour and the Vans Warped Tour.

On November 4, 2010, Jordan gave a concert in Arizona alongside Miranda Cosgrove and the power rock band We the Kings .
