The Wanhua Industrial Group is a Chinese chemical company based in Yantai , Shandong Province . It is ahead of Covestro as the world's largest manufacturer of methylene diisocyanates (MDI) and a leading TDI manufacturer. In addition, polyols , thermoplastic elastomers and acrylates are produced.

Wanhua is the parent company of Wanhua Chemical Group and took over the Hungarian chemical company BorsodChem in 2011 .
