history

When designing the municipal coat of arms, figures from the coats of arms of the owners of Hofmark Pöring, who have been known since the 16th century, were used. The partridge comes from the shield of the Lords of Millau . It also symbolizes the geographical location of the place on the edge of the wild Ebersberg forest . The silver tips are taken from the coat of arms of the Barons von Mendt .

The coat of arms was adopted by resolution of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior of March 13, 1969 (No. IB 3 - 3000 - 29 P / 2). When the town was incorporated into Zorneding in the course of the municipal reorganization of Bavaria on May 1, 1978, it lost its official validity.

The official seal of the community was inscribed in the upper half of Bavaria , and in the lower half of the curve of Pöring .
