Goods each
In varenye (also Varenie or Warenie ; Russian Варенье ) is a jam-like substance in tea is dissolved or in hot water.
The difference to jam or jam is that the fruit is generally not crushed and only boiled down with sugar - a gelling agent is not added. Due to its much more fluid consistency, it is not particularly suitable as a spread. Warenje is mainly used in Russia and Georgia and is hardly available in its original form in Germany and can best be compared with cranberries in a glass.
Warenje is mainly made from strawberries , currants , raspberries , cherries, apricots and apples. Goods made from gooseberries , blackberries , bird cherries , snowball fruits, young pine cones or rose petals are also popular.
