Warnie Kępy ['varɲɛ' kɛmpɨ] ( German : Warnitz-Wiesen or Warnitzwiesen ) is an island in the back delta of the Swine in Poland .
The island lies between the Stara Świna ( Old Swine ) and the Wicko Wielkie ( Great Vietziger Lake ). In the north it is separated from the island of Wydrza Kępa ( Treumann's Meadow ) by the Kacza ( Great Beerlose ) watercourse and from the Koński Smug ( Stallion's Meadow ) by the Leisnitz , and in the east by the Byczy Rów ( Four Ox Hole) ) from the islands of Gęsia Kępa ( Behrens-Holm ) and Wołcza Kępa ( Wulwenkämpe ).
The island is uninhabited and is under nature protection because of its nature, which offers special protection for many animal species (especially bird breeding areas ) .
