Warning was an English epic doom band that was formed in 1994 by Patrick Walker in Harlow (Essex) . In addition to the melodious, clumsy Doom, Walker's haunting voice is particularly influential. With the debut album The Strength To Dream from 1999 they achieved a certain cult status in the scene, but broke up after a European tour in 2001 with Jack Frost . In 2005 the band got back together to play at the German Doom Shall Rise Festival and released a new album in 2006, Watching From A Distance .
In January 2009 the band announced their final breakup. Then the EP Bridges was released on the German label Cyclone Empire and The Demo Tapes , a compilation of the two demos. Patrick Walker then founded 40 Watt Sun .
