Warren Casey

Warren Casey ( 1935 - November 8, 1988 ) was an American author, composer and actor. He was one of the co-founders of the musical Grease .

Casey from Yonkers, New York, studied art at Syracuse University . After graduating, he taught at the university for some time before moving to Chicago in 1962 . There he started acting and writing. In 1963 he met Jim Jacobs , with whom he staged the musical Grease in 1971 . The mutual success prompted Casey and Jacobs to continue working together, which resulted in the musical satire Islands of Lost Co-eds .
