Warriner Island

Warriner Island is a small island off the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It is located just before the western end of the Breidnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains .

Norwegian cartographers mapped them using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the island after Anthony Warriner (* 1936), a radio operator at Davis Station in 1961.
