Today's appearance

The Roquemont wash house (French lavoir for wash house) in Luzarches , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1817. The wash house is at the Chemin de la Grande Fontaine.

The washhouse originally had a roof and an oven on both long sides of the water basin to heat the hot laundry.
