The moated castle Asenheim , also called Esenheim , is an abandoned moated castle on a hill five kilometers north-northeast of the city of Riedlingen , southeast of the Esendorfer Wald in the Baden-Württemberg district of Biberach .
The former moated castle, surrounded by a circular moat , was mentioned in 1424 as owned by the Zwiefalten monastery . The castle hill with a diameter of 20 meters is still preserved from the former castle complex.
