Water house entries are house entries . So they are used to introduce the drinking water pipe through the outer wall or the floor slab of a building . House entries must meet requirements for safety , strength and service life .

Water house lead-ins can also be part of a multi-line house lead- in.

There are different designs for water house entries. The safety requirements are below those of the gas house introduction . Nevertheless, it has a water house feed gas and are made waterproof, so no reason - or leachate , nor creeping gas to damage or hazards may result.

The inlet and outlet side can have different types of connection for the media pipes, with the water house entry also being able to represent just a passage for the media pipe.

Redevelopment

Traditionally, a house connection is rehabilitated by digging a shaft to expose, remove and replace the pipeline and house entry. Trenchless systems have recently also come into use when laying new house connections. The house entry can then be made by a so-called renovation capsule.
