The water taxi Bydgoszcz ( Polish: Bydgoski Tramwaj Wodny ) runs between May 1st and October 31st on the Brda river ( German  Brahe ) in the area of ​​the Polish city ​​of Bydgoszcz ( German  Bromberg ). The maiden voyage took place on October 9, 2004 at 11 a.m.

The water taxi operates three lines:

Old Town Line - MS Bydgoszcz :

Sun line - Słonecznik :

The boat with the name MS Bydgoszcz was built in 1908 under the name Heinrich in Warnemünde , in 1940 it was bought by the Gdansk businessman Franz Preukschat and renamed Hela . After the Second World War it came to Bydgoszcz, where it was used as a tug on the Brahe until 1995 . The water taxi transports around 10,000 people annually.

In 2008 the city bought two solar- powered boats from the German company Yacht Concept Solartechnology to complement the old MS Bydgoszcz . They were named Słonecznik (Sunflower) and Słonecznik II .
