The so-called water tower in Balingen , the district town of the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg , was built in the late Gothic period. The defense tower is a protected cultural monument and is located directly next to the Zollern Castle on the Eyach .

The water tower was the southwest corner tower of the city ​​fortifications , it has a half-timbered floor from around 1480.
