The Ginnick water tower is located north of the Ginnick part of the municipality of Vettweiß in the Düren district .

The round tower Auf dem Sandberg at 231 m above sea ​​level marks the highest point in the municipality of Vettweiß. It stands on the edge of the Ginnicker Forest and the adjacent stepland with the nature reserves “Ginnicker Bruch”, “Bies Berg” and “Großer Berg”. The sports field is right next to the tower.

The water tower , built in 1955 with a storage volume of 400 m³, is operated by the water pipeline association of the Neffeltal communities in Vettweiß.

Open-air festivals were held at the water tower.
