The Hochbrück water tower is a water tower at Ingolstädter Landstrasse 100 in the Garching district of Hochbrück , north of Munich . It has been registered as a monument (D-1-84-119-16) since 2012. The tower is located at the Christoph-Probst barracks . The water tower is a tall, slim building with a square floor plan. The base is set back twice and a long central section protrudes from a top over arched consoles. The interior contains a staircase, but with the exception of the floor below the tower is not divided horizontally. The attachment with the water tank is located above this floor. The base is built using the stamped concrete construction method, above which the building consists of brick masonry. The roof is made of brass.

The water tower belonged to the former Reich ammunition factory (also: Munitionsanstalt , military ammunition factory in Garching). It was completed in 1917. The current owner is the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks . Previously, a match factory, Dynamit Nobel AG, the riot police, the Reich Labor Service, the US Army and the German Armed Forces were users of the site.
