Hochbrück

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hochbrück is a district of Garching near Munich in the district of Munich (administrative district of Upper Bavaria ). The district includes a settlement with around 2500 inhabitants, which developed from a refugee camp or the expansion of the Schleissheim ammunition plant after the Second World War, as well as a large industrial area from the 1960s and 70s and a business campus that was created after 2005 . When the Schleissheim Canal was built in 1688/89, a high arched bridge had to be built over it for the Ingolstädter Landstrasse (today's B 13). The district derives its name from this bridge.
