Water tower on the Czernyring
The water tower on Czernyring is a listed water tower in the Heidelberg Bahnstadt .
When the Grand Ducal Baden State Railways built a freight and marshalling yard in Heidelberg, the water tower at Czernyring was built by the construction company Wayss & Freytag in 1907 for the water supply . He was the first of Baden State Railway in reinforced concrete - frame construction for the system Hennebique built.
Today's abstract floral painting is reminiscent of the style of the Vienna Secession . The decommissioned tower can currently (as of November 2013) be rented for events.
