Løkken water tower

The water tower of Løkken ( da .: Løkken Vandtarn ) is one of the landmarks of the northern Danish town in North Jutland ( Hjørring Kommune ). It was built on a dune in the city center in 1916/1917 on behalf of the local waterworks according to plans by the architect Axel P. Gudnitz . The compact round tower with a pointed roof, which has a volume of 175 cubic meters, was in operation until 1975.
