Vasily Ivanovich Sujew

Wassili Iwanowitsch Sujew ( Russian Васи́лий Ива́нович Зу́ев ; * 1870 ; † around 1917 ) was a Russian miniature painter and chief miniaturist in the manufacture of Carl Peter Fabergé in Saint Petersburg . He was active from 1908 to 1917.

He may have succeeded Johannes Zehngraf as chief miniaturist and painted on both enamel and ivory . The egg for the 15th anniversary of Nicholas II's throne in 1911 is an important example of his work .
