Vasily Ivanovich Werbizki
Wassili Iwanowitsch Werbizki ( Russian Василий Иванович Вербицкий , scientific transliteration Vasilij Ivanovič Verbickij; * 1827 ; † 1890 ) was a Russian missionary and ethnographer in the Altai . He was a member of the Altai Mission in Ulala . His posthumously published ethnographic works won the Silver Medal of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society .
