Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai
The Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai ( Thai วัด บางพลี ใหญ่ ใน ) is a Buddhist temple in Bang Phli District , Province of Samut Prakan in Central Thailand .
The temple was built in honor of King Naresuan the Great (1590–1605) and his victory over the Burmese.
Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai houses the Luang Pho To (Adorable Father), a venerated image of the seated Buddha , a bronze statue that stands in the Phra Ubosot building. That is why the temple is also called Wat Luang Pho To .
The temple is close to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The lotus flower festival is celebrated here every year .
