action
Holidays are in the (fictional) Slovak town of Čabovce at the foot of the High Tatras . A couple of children who want to build a rocket discover a strange girl named Majka. The girl comes from the planet Gurun and wants to research life on earth and report about it in her home country. She has mysterious powers and can fly, walk over water, lift heavy things and duplicate objects. Majka has to recharge herself from time to time using radioactive stabilizers. When the townspeople also get to know the girl, she becomes a local celebrity and causes quite a stir. She goes on several adventures with her new friends, e.g. B. by flying to Prague with the self-made rocket. She also attracts greedy gangsters who try to kidnap her.

Trivia
The television series is based relatively closely (except for the end) on the book »Spadla z nebe« by Václav Pavel Borovička. He wrote it eleven years before filming began in 1967. The book was published in several reprints, one of them in 2000 ( ISBN 80-7214-365-4 ).
Part of the filming took place in the Hotel FIS in Štrbské Pleso .
The complete series was released on two DVDs by Pidax in December 2014.
The German version of the MDR does not contain several minutes from the original version.
